the location proved advantageous, being near key attractions.
the ev charging point was out of order upon arrival, this being inconvenient as i chose this hotel partly for that amenity. furthermore, i discovered that the large samsung tv was not connected to the internet, so i could not stream content from my devices. the pink cleaning cloth left behind also detracted from the experience.

The room faced the usher hall and had views of the castle. the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. This was my second visit. it was a quick walk down the hall to the spa. the staff were attentive and polite, attending to a few errors quickly.
The choices for breakfast were limited, though included in the room price. service during breakfast at peak times was slow. my deposit also has not been released even after ten days of checking out. This feels very old-fashioned

I was quite disappointed with my stay. the extra charge for bringing a coke to the room felt excessive. I paid ÂŁ2.50 for the coke and then an additional ÂŁ5 for room service. the club upgrade advertised tea, coffee, soft drinks, and snacks all day, but food was only available during happy hour. the alcohol choice was limited, consisting of basic branded alcohol, a couple of wines, and two beers..
